Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — With the support of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Istanbul, a meeting was organized between representatives of the Belgian company "HRD ANTWERP," one of the leading firms in jewelry expertise and international certification, and the heads of Uzbek companies "LTD EXPERT ONE" and "LTD DIAMONDS AND COLORED STONES," Dunyo news agency reported.

The meeting focused on increasing the export of jewelry products manufactured in Uzbekistan to European and Asian markets and further developing the domestic jewelry industry, including the production of competitive jewelry products.

As a result of the negotiations, an agreement was signed between "HRD ANTWERP," "LTD EXPERT ONE," and "LTD DIAMONDS AND COLORED STONES" to train specialists in Uzbekistan for the international certification and assessment of precious stones and jewelry produced in the country.

According to the agreement, in the initial phase, the certification process will be carried out through the companies "LTD EXPERT ONE" and "LTD DIAMONDS AND COLORED STONES." Later, a specialized HRD ANTWERP laboratory will be established in Uzbekistan.
