How will public transport in Tashkent work during the Navruz long weekend?

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- According to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On the establishment of additional non-working days during the celebration of official dates and the transfer of days off in 2023" from 23 December 2022, 18-22 March are set as days off with the aim of large-scale Navruz celebrations. 

In this regard, for employees with a five-day working week, days off were transferred from Saturdays, 11 and 25 March to 20 March and Wednesday,  22 March respectively.

JSC "Toshshahartranskhizmat" told how the work of public transport in the capital will be organized in the upcoming holidays in honor of Navruz.

18 March (Saturday) - a day off, buses go on routes according to the approved schedules for Saturday (a reduced number of buses on the lines compared to a normal day, while there are more of them than on the Sunday schedule);

19, 20, 21, 22 March (from Sunday to Wednesday) - public holidays, buses go on routes according to approved schedules on Sunday (reduced number of buses),

25 March (Saturday) - a working day, buses operate according to the usual schedule of the working day.
