Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers “On measures to implement the Concept for the development of civil society in 2023 and 2024” was adopted.

The document approves the "Roadmap" of 26 activities aimed at:

consistent improvement of the legal foundations for the development of civil society;

assistance to civil society institutions and further improvement of the mechanisms of their state support;

creation of conditions for the active participation of civil society institutions in state and public administration;

further expansion of the participation of civil society institutions in the implementation of state social projects;

ensuring the openness of the activities of civil society institutions.

In particular, it is planned to revise the Law “On Social Partnership”, create an electronic platform for organizing grants from the Public Fund for Support of Non-Governmental Non-Profit Organizations, establish cooperation with the Association for the Implementation of the United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC), etc.
