Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers approved the Regulations on the procedure for organizing primary education before conscription in educational institutions.

In accordance with the State Program for the Implementation of the Development Strategy of New Uzbekistan for 2022–2026 in the “Year of Caring for People and Quality Education”, approved by Presidential Decree No. UP-27 from 28 February 2023, the following were approved:

Regulations on the procedure for organizing primary education before conscription in general education institutions;

Program for the gradual strengthening of the material base of pre-conscription training of educational institutions in 2024–2028.

The provisions of the Regulations apply to institutions of general secondary and secondary specialized education, as well as vocational educational institutions.

Students in grades 10–11 of secondary schools and primary vocational institutions during one academic year become familiar with the basic requirements of legislative documents in the field of defense and national security of the country.

The classes explain the main tasks of the Armed Forces, the requirements of general military regulations, skills in emergency situations and first aid, protection against weapons of mass destruction, etc.`
