Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- According to preliminary data from the Statistical Agency, in January-June 2023, 2.03 million citizens left the Republic of Uzbekistan for tourism purposes.

The number of citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan who left its borders for the purpose of travel:

visiting relatives – 1.74 million people;

recreation and leisure – 248,300 people;

study – 19,500 people;

treatment – 15,300 people;

work-related travels  – 6,800 people.
