Furlong arrived in Uzbekistan to attend at the international conference “On the role and importance of small business and private entrepreneurship in the implementation of socio-economic policy in Uzbekistan”.

Gary Furlong shared with his impressions with the participation at the conference and said that achievements of Uzbekistan in social-economic development and support of small and private business open real perspectives for deepening the Uzbek-US cooperation.

The sides discussed issues of further developing friendly twin towns’ relations between Tashkent and Seattle, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said.
