History of Israeli theatre presented in Tashkent
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- History of Israel Theatre has been presented at the Academic Russian Dramatic Theatre of Uzbekistan within the Art Week Style.uz-2012.

Famous art-critic from Tel-Avis Yelena Tartakovskaya presented to the event participants history of Israeli theatre, its origin and development. She also briefed the participants about famous actors Yosif Mila, Nisim Aloni, Yosef Bar Yosef, Hanoh Levin.

Yelena Tartakovskaya said that the Israeli theatre started its development in 1948 as chamber theatre. She said that still many people do not understand these people and their works.

After an hour lecture, she briefed the participants about Hanoh Levin (1943-1999). She said that the play “Requiem” is one of his best works and it is based on three plays of Anton Chekhov.

The play was showed to the audience in Tashkent. After the play, the participants discussed it.
