Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- New World Bank Country Manager for Uzbekistan was appointed, the statement of the bank on its website said.

According to the bank, Hideki Mori is the new World Bank Country Manager for Uzbekistan.

Mr. Mori joined the Bank in 1993 as young professional working for the Global Environment Facility Pilot Phase in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Mr. Mori has worked in various countries in Europe and Central Asia (ECA), Africa (AFR), and Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC).
