Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — As part of high-level events held in Khujand, Presidents Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan, Emomali Rahmon of Tajikistan, and Sadyr Japarov of Kyrgyzstan took part in the official inauguration of the Friendship Stele, located at the junction of the three countries' state borders.

Deputy prime ministers of Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan reported via videoconference on the completion of construction work and the full readiness of the monument.

The Friendship Stele is expected to serve as a significant symbol of the strengthening ties of friendship, good neighborliness, mutual trust, and strategic partnership between the three brotherly nations.
