Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Saida Mirziyoyeva, Head of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Uzbekistan, expressed gratitude to President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov for the warm welcome and substantive meeting held in an open and trusting atmosphere.

During the meeting, both sides emphasized that the peoples of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan are united by a common aspiration for development and prosperity, based on mutual trust and respect. President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev attaches special importance to strengthening bilateral relations, considering Kyrgyzstan as a close neighbor and strategic partner.

Saida Mirziyoyeva highlighted tangible achievements of cooperation, including successful agreements on border issues, mutual recognition of national IDs, the establishment of joint ventures, as well as the implementation of major infrastructure projects such as the Kambarata HPP-1 and the China–Kyrgyzstan–Uzbekistan railway.

The dialogue also touched upon joint youth initiatives, including intellectual game tournaments “Zakovat,” which contribute to strengthening friendly ties between the young people of both countries.

“Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan are bound by fraternal and neighborly relations that have developed over centuries. We value these ties and will continue to strengthen them,” emphasized Saida Mirziyoyeva.
