Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The new Hajj season for Uzbek citizens will begin on 13 May 2025, with flights to Saudi Arabia scheduled daily until 28 May.
According to the press service of the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan, pilgrims will travel directly to Medina from nine cities across the country: Tashkent, Bukhara, Namangan, Samarkand, Karshi, Termez, Urgench, Navoi, and Nukus.
Flights will be operated by Uzbekistan Airways, FlyNas, and FlyAdeal.
Preparations for the Hajj 2025 season are in full swing, with pilgrims undergoing medical examinations, receiving required vaccinations, forming travel groups, and processing travel documentation.
Additionally, Uzbekistan is set to launch a Unified Hajj and Umrah Portal along with a mobile application.
This initiative aims to streamline pilgrimage procedures and reduce bureaucratic hurdles. The system is expected to be developed by 1 September this year.
