Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 23 April, Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov, the National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, arrived in Uzbekistan on an official visit.

At Samarkand International Airport, which was festively decorated with the flags of both countries, the high-ranking guest was warmly welcomed by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

According to the visit program, bilateral talks are scheduled, as well as participation in joint cultural events.

It is expected that during the meetings, the sides will discuss key areas of further strengthening Uzbek-Turkmen relations of friendship, good neighborliness, and strategic partnership.
