Lionel Messi opened the score on 3 minutes, Ahmad Musa netted an equalizer a minute later. Messi scored his second goal in the match with wonderful free-kick at the end of the first half.

Ahmad Musa recorded his brace after restart of the match. But on 50 minutes, Marcos Rojo scored the winner for Argentina.

In the second match, Bosnia and Herzegovina claimed a 3-1 win over Iran. Dzeko (on 23 minutes), Pjanic (59) and Vrsajevic (83) were on target for the Europeanside. Ghoochannejhad scored for Iran on 82 minutes.

Argentina with nine points topped the Group F, while Nigeria finished on the second place with four points.
