Graduates of technical schools, who studied a foreign language, are planned to be sent to work abroad

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 10 April, Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation Ibrokhim Abdurakhmonov visited the Technical College of Public Health named after Abu Ali ibn Sina in Tashkent and got acquainted with the activities of the educational institution, educational processes, in particular, the issue of teaching foreign languages.

During the conversation with young people and teachers, it was noted that young people study foreign languages with great enthusiasm. Some 2,396 students study at the technical school, and as a result of a survey conducted by the administration of the institution, 1600 of them expressed a desire to learn foreign languages.

Currently, the technical school organizes English, German, Korean and Russian language courses for 60 students who have expressed a desire to work abroad. Addressing students and teachers, the minister stressed that foreign experience will help them return to the country with new knowledge.

Also during the conversation, instructions were given on the creation of language clubs for students wishing to learn a language not covered by foreign language courses.

Due to the growing need for qualified personnel in European countries and the development in connection with this of the special programs, it is planned to send graduates of technical schools who have mastered foreign languages to work in developed foreign countries.

Working in leading foreign clinics and hospitals, our young people will have the opportunity to study advanced foreign experience in the field of medicine, and if they wish to continue their education, study at higher educational institutions.
