Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Ministry of Preschool and School Education of Uzbekistan has published recommendations for holding “last bell” events in public schools held at the end of the school year.

The “last bell” event will take place on 25 May from 8:00 to 9:00 and will be organized only for students in grades 1, 4, 9 and 11. Honorary teachers, parents, representatives of mahallas and former graduates can be invited to it. When holding an event, it is necessary to comply with fire and technical safety rules.

The Ministry strictly prohibits holding graduation parties in restaurants, cafes and residential buildings. It is also not allowed to collect money from students and parents for exams, final state certification and preparation for the new school year. It is prohibited to collect money for the purchase of expensive gifts and the purchase of expensive clothes for graduation parties, as well as for organizing holiday car trips.

In addition, students are not allowed to visit public gardens, parks and swimming areas in groups.

The Ministry appealed to employees of the educational system, parents and the general public with a request to strictly follow the given recommendations.
