State Demonopolisation Committee has been assigned to cooperate closely with the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, khokimiats of regions and Tashkent city in the development of the complex of measures to improve the structure of the small business sector.

The Committee’s website says the order was issued within the frame of directions for the development of small business and private enterprise outlined in the protocol of the meeting of the Complex of Economy and Foreign Economic Relations of the Cabinet of Ministers on the results of the first half of 2007.

In particular, the State Demonopolisation Committee and the abovementioned agencies are to develop a complex of measures to improve the structure of small business through stimulation of the establishment of enterprises in the industrial sector, and through cooperation with large industrial companies.
