The document was adopted to order free use of public passenger transport. The regulation sets rules on calculation of number of transported passenger by each type of transport and number of passengers, which use monthly travelling cards and certificates.

Norma.uz said that the regulation also sets order of determining passenger turnover by all types of transport.

The document establishes formation of aggregate report on passenger turnover and the volume of transported passengers on city, suburb, long-distance and international transportation by all businesses entities, which are engaged in the market.

The regulation on order of financing and compensation of damages of transportation companies said that transportation firms can be financed due to income from economic activity, own and foreign investments, resources of the state budget, and other sources, which are not banned by legislation.

The document said that the government will compensate each month damages, received from free or preferential transportation of separate categories of passengers from resources of the State budget of Uzbekistan.

The regulation sets mechanism of calculation and repayment of expenses, received from free or preferential transportation of separate categories of passengers.
