Govn’t sets order of state registration of real estate
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Government of Uzbekistan with its resolution from 7 January 2014 approved a regulation on order of the state registration of rights to property and deals with them.

The regulation said that the right to property and other rights to real estate, transfer of such rights, limiting and abolishing of these rights, deals with the real estate should be registered with the government.

The body, responsible for state registration of real estate and deals with them, should register and issue a certificate of registration of the rights to land, building or other real estate or deal with the property on request of the property owner.

The rights to property of legal entities and individuals to real estate came into force after the registration of such rights with the government. The deals, which were not registered, will be considered as invalid.

The legal entities and individuals should register their rights to real estate within a month once the case for registration of the property appeared.

The resolution also said that the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Land Resources, Geodesy, Cartography and State Cadastre will provide services to legal entities, individuals and state bodies on the deals with the property, information about buildings, which should be destroyed, ban on any deals with the property, etc.

The document also set registration fee for the state registration of the right to property. The legal entities will pay 50% of minimal size of salary, while individuals – 10% of minimal size of salary.

The State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Land Resources, Geodesy, Cartography and State Cadastre was ordered to improve software on providing its services via one-stop-shop till 1 July 2014.
