Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Cabinet of Ministers Resolution “On further improving the procedure for leasing state property” was adopted.

In accordance with this resolution, the procedure for leasing state property is coordinated with the relevant legal documents, and the Regulation on the procedure for leasing state property was approved.

Also in the resolution:

1) From 1 March 2024, it is determined that the collection and distribution of lease payments under state property lease agreements will be carried out through the electronic programme "E-ijara".

It was instructed to integrate the electronic programme "E-ijara" (Tax Committee) with the information system "online-ijara.uz" on the matters of state property lease, monitoring of lease agreements and control of receipts.

2) It was instructed to make a proposal to the Code of Administrative Responsibility to determine the liability of officials of balance holders of state property, in the following cases:

non-disclosure and concealment of information about actually unused and empty state property;

delaying the transfer of state property to a lessee or preventing its use;

illegal leasing or free use of state property.

3) In accordance with the Regulations on the procedure for leasing state property, the following are defined:

leasing of state property through the electronic trading platform "E-auksion";

recording of leased state property through the information system "online-ijara.uz";

registration of the lease agreement between UzSAMA and the lessee in electronic form;

leasing out state property that has not been used for more than three months without the consent of the balance holder;

direct online auctions of state property with an area of up to 2,000 square metres for lease on the basis of online orders from individuals;

clear definition of the formula for calculating the amount of rent;

collection and distribution of rent payments by the Tax Committee through the electronic programme "E-ijara".
