Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The government of Uzbekistan has annulled the decision to move the Tashkent airport outside the city.

The Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan adopted a resolution recognizing some government decisions as invalid.

The government resolution canceled 493 decisions that were made between 1989 and 2023.

In particular, the decision to move the Tashkent airport was canceled.

Previously, it was planned to move the Tashkent airport to a new location, which is located 45 kilometers southwest of the city and 12 kilometers north of Chinaz.
