Governor of Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug visits IT Park Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 29 April, a delegation headed by the Governor of Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, Ruslan Kukharyuk, visited IT Park Uzbekistan.
The visit was aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation in the digital sphere, exchanging experiences, and discussing future joint projects.
At the beginning of the visit, the guests familiarized themselves with the training system at the Ustudy IT academy, the activities of UZSOC, which plays a crucial role in national cybersecurity, and the work of the Unified Integrator — UZINFOCOM.
Special attention was given during the presentations to advanced projects focused on artificial intelligence, digital solutions, and smart infrastructure.
The main part of the meeting consisted of negotiations between the Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov and the Governor of Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, Ruslan Kukharyuk.
During the conversation, the development of digital infrastructure in Uzbekistan, IT training, support for the startup ecosystem, and the implementation of joint acceleration programs were discussed.
The delegation was provided with an overview of the activities of IT Park Uzbekistan, the reforms carried out by the Ministry of Digital Technologies, and key strategic directions and future plans.
The presentation highlighted that more than 100 Russian IT companies, which are residents of IT Park, already operate on the territory of IT Park Uzbekistan, and proposals for expanding their activities were discussed.
The meeting also addressed opportunities for exchanging experiences in key areas such as IT education, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and the potential implementation of two joint digital projects.
