Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A meeting took place in Ferghana between the Governor of Ferghana Region, Khayrullo Bozorov, and Chinese investors Yuan Yanping and Bai Anli.

The main topic of discussion was the implementation of a project to produce agricultural machinery within the branch of the Kokand Free Economic Zone located in the city of Kuvasoy.

Governor Bozorov emphasized the strategic importance of the project, noting that the machinery produced at the new facility will be competitive not only in the domestic market of Uzbekistan, but also across Central Asia and the CIS countries.

He expressed confidence in the successful implementation of the initiative and pledged full support from the regional authorities.

As a result of the meeting, a trilateral Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the parties, marking an important step toward strengthening investment cooperation and establishing new production capacities in the region.
