In the result of 2011, GM Uzbekistan claimed the third place on the volume of sold automobiles in Kazakh market.
Lada was on the first place with market share of 45.22% in November against 37% in October 2011 and November 2010. In the reporting period, the carmaker sold 1,972 cars in Russia, which is five times more than the second placed Hyundai.
South Korea’s Hyundai sold 411 cars, produced in Russia, in Kazakhstan. Accent brand, assembled in Russia, helped Hyundai to hold the second place.
In line with the report, GM Uzbekistan’s Nexia model was the fifth bestselling car in Kazakhstan in November, moving one place down.
Other model of the Uzbek producer, Matiz moved nine places up compared to October 2011 to the eleventh place in November 2011.
Qncepto underlined that the official dealers realized 5,082 cars in Kazakhstan in November 2011. The company said that November 2011 became the best November in all history of Kazakh market. The sales of car rose 2.1 times compared to the same period of 2011 and 11.67% against October 2011.
The volume of sales grew twice (+104.3%) in nine months of 2011. In January-November 2011, the dealers sold 38,697 cars against 18,940 automobiles (including LCV) in the same period of 2010.
