German FM to pay visit to Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Federal Foreign Minister of Germany Guido Westerwelle will pay a visit to Uzbekistan on 15 July 2010, the German ministry said.
The ministry said Guido Westerwelle will arrive in Uzbekistan in the second half of Thursday. In Tashkent, he will hold meetings with the Uzbek President Islam Karimov and his Uzbek counterpart Vladimor Norov.
It is expected that the sides will consider situation of refugees in the region in the context of recent violence in southern Kyrgyzstan.
