The embassy plans to organize several sport events at sport colleges in Nukus and Muynak, as well as classic music concerts and master classes at participation of violinist from Germany Ken Schumann and pianist from Uzbekistan Mariya Ahadjanova. The concerts will be held in Urgench on 16 November, Khiva on 17 November, Nukus on 19 November. They will perform works of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Ludwig van Beethoven, Jeno Hubay, and Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy.

At the same time, head of department of culture Swantje Kortemeyer will deliver a lecture at State University of Urgench and Nukus on education opportunities in Germany.

She will also visit Scientific-Research Institute of humanitarian science of Karakalpak branch at Uzbekistan Science Academy, school No. 6 in Nukus, school No. 19 and Academic Lyceum No. 2 under the State University in Urgench. All schools and lyceum are partners of initiative “Schools – partners of future” for schools with teaching Germany language, which are supported by the German Government.
