The value of this order, which was won by GEA’s Refrigeration Division, is in excess of 15 million euros. The delivery is planned to be completed in the second half of next year, the company said on 5 November.
The operation of natural gas pipelines requires the use of compression stations. The station compresses the gas from a pressure of 31 bar at the well to 51 bar into the pipeline. This process is meant to work 15 years from startup and commissioning. The scope of supply of GEA Refrigeration includes also control systems.
