Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The representative office of Gazprombank has successfully passed the accreditation procedure at the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The corresponding certificate was received on January 24 of this year. 

The representative office was established in order to establish, maintain and develop relations with government agencies, financial and credit organizations, educational and business entities of Uzbekistan, to promote the development of the Bank’s international business in Uzbekistan, as well as to promote the Bank’s brand, to support initiatives and projects implemented by the Bank in the Republic. This was reported by the press service of Gazprombank.

Gazprombank intends to continue supporting investment projects in Uzbekistan, provide comprehensive support for Russian companies operating in Uzbekistan, including the search for partners, participate in conferences, seminars and other events on the territory of the Republic. In addition, the Bank plans to further develop relations with local credit institutions.

Gazprombank contributes to the development of relations between our countries on projects in the oil and gas, petrochemical, mining, financial and other industries. The Bank independently or as part of syndicates finances landmark investment projects, implements infrastructure projects and deals in the field of public-private partnership.

Currently, the Bank is involved in financing a number of projects in the field of the fuel and energy complex with the participation of the backbone enterprise Uzbekneftegaz JSC, including the unique Uzbekistan GTL project. Works on expanding sources of financing, including through the organization of the placement of debt instruments of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the largest enterprises, financial institutions in the international debt capital markets. Provides rating and ESG consulting services.

Gazprombank actively shares its experience and promotes its technologies in the banking sector of the Republic through the training center of the Central Bank and the Banking and Finance Academy. About 50 training events were held for more than 2 thousand employees of banks, ministries and large state-owned companies.
