Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Russian company Gazprom Neft is considering launching several new projects in Uzbekistan, including the creation of a network of gas stations under its own brand, according to the company’s CEO, Alexander Dyukov, who spoke at the Russian Energy Week forum.
He emphasized that Gazprom Neft is already actively operating in Uzbekistan, supplying oil and petroleum products such as gasoline, diesel fuel, lubricants, and bitumen.
"We are discussing the possibility of implementing additional projects, including the construction of a network of gas stations under the Gazprom Neft brand," Dyukov stated.
He also noted that Uzbekistan is showing strong economic growth and increasing its consumption of petroleum products. "This is a promising market, and we recognize the importance of our presence here," he added.
The company plans to enhance its cooperation with Uzbekistan in the technological sector, particularly in the exploration and extraction of hydrocarbons.
According to Dyukov, the implementation of digital solutions has enabled the opening of a drilling management center in Uzbekistan, significantly reducing the time and costs of well construction.
