Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A new first deputy chairman of State Customs Committee of Uzbekistan has been appointed.

Colonel Gayrat Nasirov has been named the first deputy chairman of the State Customs Committee of Uzbekistan, following a resolution signed by the President on 11 February.

Prior to his new appointment, Nasirov headed the Tashkent-Aero specialized customs complex, where he gained extensive experience in organizing and coordinating customs control operations.

His predecessor, Ilkhom Mukhtorov, has stepped down from the position and will continue his work within other structures of the customs service.
