Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Garage Screen Film Festival of the Garage Museum of Contemporary Art is held annually in the cities of Russia and the CIS countries and introduces the public to topical cinema that has not been released to wide distribution.

From 19 to 21 November, with the support of the Art and Culture Development Foundation, the festival will be held in Tashkent at the 139 Documentary Center.

This year the festival program is dedicated to the ethics and politics of inclusion - a practice aimed at creating equal conditions for participation in the life of society for people with different backgrounds. The film screenings of the Garage Screen Film Festival this year are part of the educational and inclusive program of the Samarkand Half Marathon.

In addition to film screenings, the festival will also host a lecture by film critic Mikhail Zakharov "From marginals to visionaries: the history of American-Asian cinema."
