Fund Forum to hand over furniture, gifts to Jizzakh’s kindergarten

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Fund Forum, Social Initiatives Support Fund (SISF) in cooperation with Jizzakh regional administration, Jizzakh regional finance department, Ministry of Public Education in Uzbekistan, TIKA Office in Uzbekistan will hand over material-technical means like furniture, bedroom sets, games and gifts to pilot kindergarten No. 33 with inclusive education in Jizzakh city on 26 August 2011.

The event is part of charity forum-marathon “For name of Life”, which collected resources to support this kindergarten.

SISF has been implementing project “Inclusive education in Uzbekistan” since 2007 and it is directed at creating equal opportunities for education for children with limited abilities.

Within the project, the SISF render material-technical support to pilot schools and kindergartens to create conditions for inclusive education. In 2009-2010, pilot kindergarten No. 26 in Navoi region was equipment with equipment and kindergarten No. 33 in Jizzakh city was repaired. In 2011, the repair works at Jizzakh kindergarten have been continued.

Some 1.5 billion soums have been spent for project implementation since 2007. The project implementation helped to raise emotional and social state of children with limited abilities by 20%.
