It was noted that “Asrlar Sadosi” Festival of Traditional Culture and Art Week Style.uz stepped far beyond the size of the ordinary international events.
Fund Forum said that the UNDP expressed interest and readiness in cooperation with Fund Forum, which would significant step in developing and strengthening cultural-humanitarian relations of Uzbekistan with international community and promoting historic-cultural heritage and tourism potential of Uzbekistan, as well as Great Silk Road programme of the UNWTO.
Fund Forum and the UNWTO organized several events dedicated tourism potential of Uzbekistan and Great Silk Road heritage in Japan.
The World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) is the United Nations agency responsible for the promotion of responsible, sustainable and universally accessible tourism.
UNWTO’s membership includes 155 countries, 6 Associate Members and over 400 Affiliate Members representing the private sector, educational institutions, tourism associations and local tourism authorities.
Uzbekistan joined the UNWTO in 1993. Uzbekistan is currently member of Executive Council of the organization.
