“Fund Forum presents Uzbekistan” in Austria
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A presentation of the book “Fund Forum presents Uzbekistan” and a photo exhibition took place as part of a reception commemorating Uzbekistan’s 20th independence anniversary in Vienna, Austria.

Organized by the Uzbek Embassy in Austria, the event drew over 200 people who expressed their admiration for Uzbekistan, with many saying the book and the photos vividly reflected its ancient culture and history.

The visitors to the event viewed the book and the photos on display with a keen interest and shared the impressions they drew from the event.

Gertrud Tauchhammer, editor-in-chief, Society magazine:

“We are proud to have a solid partnership with the Fund Forum. I’m a frequent visitor to Uzbek festivals organized by the Fund Forum such as Asrlar sadosi Festival and “Style.Uz” Art Week. We have been observing the Fund Forum’s events with a great interest and we’re looking forward to traveling to your country in late October to attend the eagerly-awaited Style.Uz Art Week.”

Helmut Babler, Regional Director of SonoSite, Inc.:

“The new book “Fund Forum presents Uzbekistan” and the photos we have viewed today depict Uzbekistan’s unusual ancient architecture and its rich history. I’ve been to Uzbekistan several times and attended Asrlar sadosi Festival of Traditional Culture in Khiva last year. Once you visit this country you feel compelled to come back. Many thanks to the Fund Forum for its efforts!”

Reinhardt Gausterer, Director General of the Austrian Publishing House:

“We’re impressed by the Fund Forum’s multifaceted activities and its successful projects. We’re aware that the Foundation has launched major projects in many spheres, including the support of youth and allocation of micro loans. Today’s exhibition clearly shows us how Uzbekistan takes care of its ancient architectural monuments. I’m sure that there are many more interesting projects in the pipeline.”

Walter Prinz, President, Uzbek-Austrian Institute:

“I salute the Fund Forum for this far-reaching project dedicated to Uzbekistan’s 20th independence anniversary. We, members of the Uzbek-Austrian Institute, have been fortunate to visit your amazing country several times and we can say with confidence that Uzbekistan is a dynamically developing country with a modern infrastructure. Uzbek and international photographers’ creations we see here bear testimony to my words.”
