The meeting was logic end to the scientific-practical conference “Avicenna Readings” titled “Heritage of great scientist Ibn Sino and modern medicine”, which was held last week in Bukhara.

Fund Forum said that during the meeting Mark Bonnel underlined importance of medical heritage of Ibn Sino in development of global medicine and his teachings on preventing, diagnosing and treating diseases, etc.

The main aim of the meeting was to discuss further cooperation of specialists from France and Uzbekistan in folk medicine.

Mark Bonnel expressed gratitude for warm meeting at the Fund Forum. He said that he appreciates work of Fund Forum in various areas. He said that he thinks that any cooperation should be realized based on cultural heritage of the country.

Mark Bonnel underlined that Uzbekistan has rich cultural heritage. In its turn, Fund Forum realized many projects in culture, education, medicine, etc, he added. He said that the bright example for it is Abu Ali Ibn Sino or Avicenna. Bonnel said that he will be happy to cooperate with Fund Forum and the sides have several ideas on joint projects.
