Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Presidential resolution adopted “On improving the procedure for determining wages, pensions and other payments”.

In accordance with the resolution, from 1 September 2019, instead of the minimum wage, are introduced:

- The minimum wage is 577,170 soums;

- base calculated value is 202,730 soums;

-the base value of the calculation of pensions is 202,730 soums.

In this case, the minimum wage is applied in the field of labor relations to determine the amount of official salary, allowances, bonuses, fees, compensation payments for additional work and other incentive payments, as well as deductions established by law, and other payments previously established in relation to the minimum wage, as well as the determination of the need of a family for social support and the amount of unemployment benefits.

The basic calculated value is used in determining:

-sizes of taxes, fees, fines, government duties and other payments for the provision of public services;

-the cost of a patent, license and other payments to engage in a particular type of business activity, the size of statutory and other funds (capital) of organizations, the value of non-cash paid shares, other securities, the book value of assets of legal entities, the maximum amount of microcredit and leasing, and other financial and economic indicators.

The basic amount of the calculation of pensions is applied to the calculation of pensions, allowances, supplements and compensations, as well as compensation for harm caused to the health of the employee.

All types of allowances, bonuses, remunerations and other payments of a compensatory and incentive nature, established in relation to the minimum wage, are recalculated with the current sum values of these payments preserved.
