Uzbekistan and Moldova were planning to hold the friendly match in Turkey in February 2016.
Testemitanu said due to regional tension, Uzbekistan decided not to hold training camp in Turkey and organize it in the UAE. He noted that Moldova was planning to play another match with Romania in Turkey.
He said that Moldova was planning to play against Uzbekistan in UAE, but was waiting for response of Romania to move match from Turkey to UAE. Romania said that they will either hold training camp in Spain or refuse from it.
In the result, Moldova decided to abolish plans to hold training camp in Turkey and friendly match with Uzbekistan in the UAE.
He said that it is not economically viable to travel to the UAE to hold only one friendly match with Uzbekistan.
