The fourth committee on orientation of AFD decided to allow the agency to carry out its operation in Uzbekistan on 23 June. The decision was adopted at presence of State Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of France Alain Juppé and Minister of cooperation of France Henri de Raincourt.

The embassy said that this is importance decisions, which will expand French presence in Uzbekistan.

Agence Française de Développement is financial organization, which is in center of French mechanism on rendering development aid. The agency will soon mobilize its experience and resources to help to modernization of economy of Uzbekistan.
