Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- French brand KIABI is studying the possibilities of co-sourcing in domestic enterprises of Uzbekistan, Uztextilprom Association said in a statement.

The head of the famous brand is visiting Uzbekistan at the invitation of Uztextilprom Association. The guest did not hide his admiration for the changes in the country and reforms in the textile industry.

In particular, following the visit to Global Textile in Fergana, one of the leading enterprises of Uzbekistan, the guests studied in detail all the processes of cotton-textile cluster – from cotton growing to production of finished goods and could see with their own eyes that all the requirements of the European market, such as attitude to people (social factor), attitude to the environment and sustainable development of the company are observed during production. And one more important factor – the cluster presents a supply chain that guarantees traceability.

During the meeting in the association, representatives of the brand noted that Uzbekistan has great opportunities for cooperation with KIABI and as a result, the parties discussed the directions of logistics when sending products, aspects of timely delivery and high quality products.
