Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —  The Government of Uzbekistan has approved a regulation that outlines the procedure for providing free travel tickets on railway and intercity buses for elderly people living alone and for persons with disabilities who require assistance.

According to the document, elderly people living alone and disabled individuals who need care will be eligible to receive a free round-trip ticket for travel on railway transport or intercity buses once a year.

Additionally, the regulation grants the right to a free round-trip ticket for one accompanying person who provides assistance to the elderly or disabled individual in need of care.
