Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Fund for Reconstruction and Development of Uzbekistan (FRDU) will allocate US$927.9 million for implementation of projects included in the state investment program for 2019.

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a resolution “On measures to implement the Investment Program of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2019”.

The head of Uzbekistan approved a list of projects, implemented with the attraction of FRDU funds. The list includes 26 projects in the energy, oil and gas and chemical industries, metallurgy and transport infrastructure, as well as in other areas with a total value of about US$8.97 billion.

At the same time, US$8.03 billion will be spent on construction of new objects, US$213.3 million - on modernization and reconstruction of existing enterprises, as well as US$722.7 million - on other areas.

The resolution noted that FRDU will allocate funds for implementation of these projects in the amount of US$3.76 billion, including US$641.6 million in 2019.

The document emphasizes that in 2019 funds for US$1.77 billion will be used. The volume of utilized own funds of enterprises will be US$209.3 million, FRDU funds - US$927.9 million, and foreign loans under a state guarantee - US$600.7 million and also at the expense of other sources - US$34.9 million
