Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- François Chaplin returns to Tashkent to please classical music lovers with two unique programs. He will give a solo concert dedicated to the masterpieces of great composers, and Francois Chaplain will also perform with the State Symphony Orchestra under the direction of maestro Kamoliddin Urinbaev. Both concerts will take place in the large concert hall of the State Conservatory, on 24 and 27 October.
On 24 October, François Chaplain invites piano lovers to his solo concert with a special program, which consists of works by composers such as Debussy, Rameau, Scriabin, Borodin, Schubert and Beethoven. On 27 October, the pianist will perform as a soloist with the State Symphony Orchestra, where he will perform the piano concerto in G major by Maurice Ravel. The orchestra, led by maestro Kamoliddin Urinbaev, will also perform Poulenc’s Sinfonietta.
François Chaplin performs as a soloist with renowned orchestras and participates in music festivals such as La Roque d’Antheron. Last year he published an album of Chopin’s complete 19 waltzes, which received numerous positive reviews from critics, as did his other discs of works by Schumann, Chopin, Brahms, Scriabin, Debussy, Poulenc and others. His recording of the complete piano works of Claude Debussy is considered one of the best in the entire history of the composer’s discography.
