Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 21 July this year, a delegation of managers, heads of departments and specialists of the Uzbekiston Temir Yollari joint-stock company, headed by Acting Chairman of the Board Zufar Narzullaev, visited a subsidiary of the Foundry and Mechanical Plant.

During the visit, the management of the Company got acquainted with the activities of a large industrial enterprise, its production workshops, as well as the production potential and quality of products. 

Zufar Narzullaev addressed the head of the Foundry and Mechanical Plant and the leading specialists of the plant with a request to sharply increase the number of produced freight cars of various models for the needs of the railways of Uzbekistan, increase the volume of repaired cars, and also, on the basis of the localization program, establish their own production of import-substituting spare parts and components, noted the need for material and moral incentives for the leading specialists of the enterprise.

Speaking about the production of new cars, it was emphasized that it is necessary to focus primarily on quality. And due to the localization of imported spare parts, you can save millions of foreign currency. For this, within the framework of the investment program of Uzbekistan Temir Yollari JSC, the necessary financing is provided for the production and repair of wagons.

In order to increase the number of new cars in the car fleet, responsible persons were instructed to expand production, in parallel with the production of exported cars and spare parts for them.
