Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A ceremony of awarding scholarships of Foundation for Development of Culture and Arts under the Ministry of Culture of Uzbekistan was held at the State Institute of Arts and Culture of Uzbekistan.

Representatives of the Foundation for Development of Culture and Art awarded diplomas to the students.

“The grants awarded by the Foundation for Development of Culture and Art under the Ministry of Culture are designed to more fully unleash the creative potential of our talented youth. I hope that the grant will be a pass to the realization of your creative plans and projects in the sphere of culture and art, and our country will receive a strong personnel reserve in your person,” representative of the foundation Timur Kamalov said.

The students of the bachelor’s and master’s degree programs of universities of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan participated in competition of the scholarship program of the Foundation. According to the results of the two stages of the competition, 10 winners of the scholarship program were identified. The winners of the program will be awarded grants in the amount of a contract for one academic year.

The foundation plans a number of educational projects in near future as it is working on organizing scholarship programs in cooperation with leading foreign universities. Negotiations are also underway with world museums and cultural institutions to organize internships and events aimed at improving the skills of employees of cultural institutions.
