Forum “The crossroads of times: the great heritage of the past - the basis of the enlightened future” to be held in Tashkent
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- An International Media Forum "“The crossroads of times: the great heritage of the past - the basis of the enlightened future” will be held in Tashkent within the framework of the multimedia project “Cultural Heritage of Uzbekistan” on 28-29 November 2017.

Leading representatives of world science, heads of museums, libraries, scientific institutes and other international organizations, national scientists and experts will take part in the event.

One of the main events of the International Media Forum will be the presentation of a new series of projects – “Masterpieces of written monuments of the East”, within the framework of which there will be a solemn ceremony of donating facsimile copies of priceless ancient manuscripts stored in the Institute of Oriental Manuscripts of the Academy of Sciences of the Russian Federation and the National Library of France. The facsimiles of folios were made using a unique technology with the use of manual labor, a special type of paper and real gold.

During the event, the presentation of the next five book-albums and documentary films published within the framework of the series "Cultural heritage of Uzbekistan in the world’s assemblies" will also take place.

In this regard, a humanitarian action will be held on the donation of 2,500 books to the largest libraries and museums in the world and the country, as well as educational institutions.

Along with this, scientists from museums and libraries of Great Britain, France, Russia, Turkey, the Czech Republic, Japan will be presented with special reports on the release of new albums in 2018.
