Tashkent stage of the marathon will be held in Tashkent on 28 April 2013 in partnership with Susan G. Komen for the Cure (USA).

As usual, the raised funds will go toward organizing free early detection campaigns, supporting women diagnosed with breast cancer, providing psychological and social rehabilitation as well as purchasing medication for breast cancer sufferers.

In May 2012, Gulnara Karimova handed over cheque for 25 million soums to “In the Name of Life” National Breast Cancer Association at the finish of charity forum-marathon “In the Name of Life”. The funds will be used to purchase cancer medicaments. Singer Shakhzoda and Akfa handed over cheques for 5 and 6 million soums respectively, which were also directed to purchase of medicaments.

Currently, the medicaments were handed over to women with breast cancer.
