Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Mukhtorjon Sharafbaev, a former employee of the Internal Affairs Department of Syrdarya region, has been sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder of three individuals: a woman, her son, and her mother.

The crime occurred on 27 April, and the case was concluded on 4 October at the Syrdarya District Criminal Court.

Sharafbaev, who had been working in the law enforcement system since 2012, killed the woman he was living with, along with her son and mother. After the murders, he set fire to the house in an attempt to destroy evidence.

The court found him guilty of intentional homicide, fraud, theft, and deliberate destruction of property.
