The committee said that foreign trade turnover of Uzbekistan with the CIS states reached US$8.868 billion (+6.8% year-on-year) and with other states – US$10.506 billion (-9% y-o-y) in the reporting period.
According to the committee, exports of Uzbekistan made up US$10.665 billion in nine months of 2012, which is 10.5% less year-on-year, while imports of Uzbekistan rose by 10% year-on-year to US$8.709 billion in January-September 2012.
Uzbekistan exported goods and services to the CIS states for US$5.676 billion (+9.9% y-o-y) and to other countries – US$4.987 billion (-26.2% y-o-y).
The committee added that imports from the CIS states grew by 1.8% year-on-year to US$3.192 billion and to other states – by 15.4% year-on-year to US$5.517 billion.
Unbalance in foreign trade was 122.5% versus 150.6% in the corresponding period of the previous year.
Balance of external trade was US$1.956 billion, of which US$2.484 billion fell to share of the CIS countries and minus US$528.4 million – to other foreign countries.
