Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — From January to July 2024, Uzbekistan was visited by 4.2 million foreign nationals for tourism purposes.

Compared to the same period last year, this figure has increased by 562,500 people, or 15.3%.

The majority of tourists came from Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, with over 1.2 million each. Following them are Kazakhstan and Russia, with 845,800 and 442,100 visitors respectively.

Additionally, visitors included nationals from Turkmenistan (83,700), Turkey (62,000), China (35,500), India (33,300), South Korea (23,900), Italy (19,500), and other countries (211,200).
