Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 13 March 2023, Acting Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov received copies of the credentials of the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Uzbekistan Ahmed Farooq.

During the conversation, proposals were considered for the further development of the Uzbek-Pakistani political dialogue, trade, economic and transport and communication ties, as well as interregional and cultural and humanitarian exchanges. 

The schedule and organizational aspects of the upcoming events in bilateral and multilateral formats were discussed.
