Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Ambassador of Uzbekistan Mansurbek Kilichev met with Deputy Foreign Minister of Egypt Ismail Khairat to discuss intensifying bilateral cooperation in all areas, Dunyo news agency reported.

During the negotiations, the Egyptian side noted that the two countries are historically connected by centuries-old friendship and cultural closeness, and the Egyptian government is ready to further expand and strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation with Uzbekistan.

It was emphasized that cooperation between the two countries in the political, investment, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres has reached a new level in recent years. In particular, the mutually beneficial dialogue between the business circles of Egypt and Uzbekistan opens up new areas of cooperation.
